7th Pay Commission: Government provides Dearness Allowance (DA) to its employees and pensioners to compensate for the rising inflation in the country.

7th Pay Commission: A big happy news awaits lakhs of central government employees in the country. This means that the central government is currently making some suggestions on raising the Dearness Allowance (DA) for its employees again. Some information has come out that this time the dearness allowance for central government employees will be increased by 4 percent. Generally under the 7th Pay Commission twice in a year the central government increases the dearness allowance to its employees. Every month the price hike is determined by various factors including the AICPI Index (All India Consumer Price Index). Last September, the employees’ allowance was increased by 4%. Following this, there was a significant increase in the arrears in November last year.

For Central Government Employees As per the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission, the government has increased the dearness allowance by 4% to 38% for central government employees, while the dearness allowance was 34%. As per the recommendation of the 7th Pay Commission, the central government revises the allowance twice a year in the months of January and July. Now if the government agrees to increase the state pension it will help the government employees immensely. A total of more than 1.15 crore people will benefit from the hike, including 50 lakh central government employees and 65 lakh retired central employees.
