After scoring three goals in the first half and turning in a dominant effort against Steelers cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon and safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, Philadelphia’s top wide out tweeted the news one morning.
Brown helped the Eagles win their first seven games for just the second time in franchise history and for the first time since 2004, when Donovan McNabb and Terrell Owens took the team to the Super Bowl. Brown had six receptions for 156 yards.

A.J. Brown Drug Test, a wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles, is skeptical of the NFL’s claim that its drug tests are random. Given that he had a great day against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday afternoon, he believes the timing of the test is somewhat questionable. He was tested on Monday morning.
Some of the only terms that can accurately characterize Brown’s Sunday were “monster,” “giant,” and “enormously gigantic.” He grabbed three amazing touchdown passes for at least 25 yards in the first half alone. He and quarterback Jalen Hurts helped the Eagles to a 35-13 victory and ensured that they would be the only unbeaten club in the NFL.
John Clark of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports that Brown is the only Eagles player to score three touchdowns of 25 yards or more in a single game in 53 years. It thus didn’t seem random to Brown when he learned that the NFL had chosen him for a drug test when he got up on Monday.
Of course, the NFL has “randomly” administered a drug test to recently successful players before. In a preseason game in August, the New Orleans Saints’ punter made an 81-yard punt. He received an NFL test text on his phone a few days later when he woke up.
