iOS 16.4 update features: Next week will see the release of iOS 16.4, which adds a few useful new features. The new operating system will have more than thirty new emoji, web-push notifications, and 5G Standalone for iPhones. It will also have a few surprises.
Apple Books brings old animation back: In iOS 16.4, Apple Books now have an animated page curl. Even though iOS has always had this feature, Apple decided to take it away in a recent update. The company is bringing it back so that turning the page from one book to another will look more seamless and immersive.
Apple Music and Apple Podcasts tweaks: iOS 16.4 has several improvements to the Music app. For example, the full-screen pop-up that used to happen when a song was added to the queue has been taken away. A scaled-down version of the album cover art is displayed in the playlist menu. Updates to Apple Podcasts include new Library and Up Next features as well as enhancements to CarPlay.
Voice Isolation for Calls: Before the release of the iPhone 13, Apple had removed this crucial feature, which had been available since the iPhone 12. This was a hardware-related animation, as opposed to the software-related Apple Books animation. Now, the Cupertino company is using the same technology found in FaceTime calls to enable you to block out background noise while on the go.
Duplicate detection on iCloud Shared Photo Library:With the release of iOS 16.4 update features, you and your loved ones will be able to create a shared photo library to remember special occasions like vacations, family meals, and milestone birthdays. With iOS 16.4, the system will now alert you when it finds a duplicate photo or video, giving you the option to keep both or delete one.
Battery consumption: With iOS 16.4, you can see how much power the always-on screen is using. However, with the iPhone 14 Pro, you’ll have more options for how you manage this feature.
