Everyone was taken aback by the first-ever glance at the Optimus robot prototype at the Elon Musk Tesla AI Day 2022 event. The Tesla bot has been kept entirely under wraps for more than a year, despite a preview image of robotic hands creating a heart shape in the event announcement.

As should be predicted, the Optimus prototype has a humanoid body and is about the same size as an adult human. Nobody was quite sure what to make of the Optimus prototype. however considering the short period of time in development, it was fairly outstanding. The Tesla robot could move about freely, wave to the crowd, and even do a brief, conservative dance. Tesla demonstrated the Artificial intelligence Tesla bot’s ability to pick up a package and transport it to a desk where humans are seated in a video. Other things like a metal bar and a watering can for plants may be recognised and picked up by it.
However, the Optimus prototype shows the efforts of a genuine robotics team, contrary to some people’s fears that the Tesla bot element of the AI Day event would be just bluster. A lot of work has been put into creating a small, all-purpose robot that might eventually replace humans and alter how labour is done at Tesla plants. Given the continued development over several years, Optimus actually has the ability to have an impact on the entire planet.
