James Earl Jones, who has provided the voice of Darth Vader for almost 40 years of "Star Wars" movies, appears to be leaving the part.

Jones' youthful voice from his earlier films will be recreated using artificial intelligence synthetic speech technologies for upcoming Lucasfilm projects.
