A 25-year-old bank employee opened fire in Louisville, killing five and injuring eight others.

Connor Sturgeon was killed by police after a shootout with authorities.

Four victims, including Deana Eckert, died in the shooting.

Authorities initially reported nine injured, including a 26-year-old police officer who was shot in the head.

Police reported that five injured victims had gunshot wounds, with one of the victims having passed away, bringing the death toll to five.

The mass shooting began at the Old National Bank at 8:30 a.m.
